Classroom Texts and Required Materials: All students will come to class prepared everyday with the required notebooks, workbooks, paper, and pens.
Fines will be given for damaged or lost school issued materials.

- Supply List: a separate spiral notebook or paper for this class only, highlighters, colored pencils/markers, and index cards.
Notebook/ Activity Log:
Each period will have a class activity log. This log will be a record of each day’s activities, notes, and due dates. A new log will be provided for each unit and collected as a part of notebook checks. Notebook checks will occur periodically and count as a quiz grade. You are REQUIRED to keep a folder in this class with your notes, classwork, and any other needed materials. Each student will receive only ONE folder and must return it to your class block’s crate at the end of each block.
Class Website:
Our class has a website and it can be found at http://www.mrscasagrande.com
Occasionally, you will be asked to post a response to a question or prompt on this website. If you are unable to access the web from home, you are welcome to use our classroom computer before, during, or after class. This website will also be updated regularly with announcements, a calendar, and class handouts. I will check it often, so post any questions you might have at home while completing an assignment or email me.

Additional copies for all assignments can be found in the black basket under the Activity Log.

The class rules are:
- Respect Others. Treat all people as you would like to be treated.
- Respect Teachers. Treat teachers with respect and you will find that the respect gets returned to you in the same manner, especially in my class.
- Respect yourself. Be on task, contribute to class, come prepared, try your best, and have your work done on time. If you don’t respect yourself how can you respect others?
- Copying fellow student’s assignment or tests is cheating and will not be tolerated. Detention will be give for the first offense and subsequence offenses will warrant administrative action.
- NO food or drink in class. Water is the only exception.
