Additions to the Syllabus for Honors Students ONLY
Notebooks: Honors students are not required to keep an updated folder in the classroom with assignments; however, if you do not take advantage of this you MUST keep a separate World History Spiral or 3-rign binder.
Homework: Honors students will recieve homework once or twice a week. Below you will find the Journal Guidelines we will use when completing any small writing assignments.
In addition, you will be expected to read and interpret information both inside and outside the class. Good reading and notetaking skills are vital to your success. Be organized and you can achieve your goals.
Projects: This course will require you to think critically and write with a purpose. Plagiaraism is not tolerated in this class. Cutting and pasting from the internet is plagiarism. Your work must be your own.
Cite your sources and be sure to "quote" when you copy someone's ideas/opinions. A bibliography or works cited pages must be turned in with all projects--big or small.
One letter grade will be taken off for each day a project is turned in late.
