Blocks 1, 2, and 6 have been graded. I am working on the test for block 5. It will be done tomorrow and posted. Interims go home this week. All graded will be up to date by then. World History Classes will take another test this week. The test will be on China and Japan. I will post a study guide Monday or Tuesday. Tests 02/25/2010
All US History test have been graded. Make-ups will be this Thursday or Friday during class or next week after school. I am still working on World History Tests. They should be graded by Monday. Japanese Culture Day 02/23/2010

Starting in February, all honors classes will focus more on writing. We will start doing writing during classes and then it will become a regular homework assignment. I will assignment a topic question in class and using either your notes or a section in the textbook you will be expected to answer the question in a paragraph or two. Please review the journal writing guidelines. I will use this format to grade all these assignments. (Guidelines can be found in the Honor section) Missing Late Work 01/15/2010
The last day for missing or late work is January 22nd. Thursday, January 21st is the opportunity to retake tests or quizzes after school. Tutorials will be offered next week on Tuesday and Thursday. Nor'Easter Days off 11/13/2009
I hope you are all well and staying dry. I've enjoyed having the last two days off but look forward to getting back to school Monday. We will need to work hard to make up for the days lost.
